In the context of its role in raising awareness, insight and enriching educational thinking, Qatar National Commission issues a periodic journal, since 1971, entitled "Education". It is a quarterly adjudicated journal, published every three months. It explains and analyses some of important scientific, educational, cultural and social issues, through publishing the views and thoughts of Qatari and Arab prominent authors, officials and subject-area specialists, including university professors and faculty, researchers and experts. Furthermore, the journal publishes the National Commission's local, regional, Arab and international news and events. The number of pages of the "Education Journal", issued in both Arabic and English ahs reached (320) pages of medium size, large numbers of which are exchanged or given as courtesy gifts to most government agencies and ministries within the country as well as to universities and educational research centers across Arab states.
