 Secretariat General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf

​​​​​​​is a regional organization consisting of six Gulf States i.e. "United Arab Emirates, Kingdom of Bahrain, State of Kuwait, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Sultanate of Oman and State of Qatar. It is concerned with conducting studies related to co-operation, coordination, plans and integrated programs for the Gulf joint action. Its purpose is also to prepare the periodical reports on the work of the Council, follow-up the implementation of the resolutions, develop reports as required by the Supreme Council or the Ministerial Council, and to make preparations for meetings and conferences.

The Secretariat General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf is headed by His Excellency the Secretary General. The Secretariat General of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States is composed of a Secretary General, five Assistant Secretaries General and Directors-General of the functional divisions.
