QNCECS Takes Part in International Exhibition for Dialogue among Civilizations and Cultures

Under the patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Sheikh Faisal Bin Qassim Al Thani Museum announced that it will organize a travelling international exhibition for dialogue among civilizations and cultures, in cooperation with Qatar Museums, Qatar Museums Authority, the Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science and Shell Qatar.
The international exhibition is expected to be held in several European cities during the next two years, starting with a visit to Valletta (Malta) - the capital of European culture - in September, and then moving to other cities, including Paris - the UNESCO headquarters.
The exhibition seeks to promote dialogue between cultures, religions and nations on the importance of cultural heritage. Individuals will have the opportunity to interact with stories on tolerance, inspiration, innovation and understanding, in the context of the themes highlighted by the exhibition.

QNCECS Takes Part in ‘Bulgarian Folk Motifs’ Art Exhibition

Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science took part in the organization of Bulgarian art exhibition for the Bulgarian artist Petya Ilieva titled “Bulgarian Folk Motifs” from May 1 to 6. The exhibition, held at City Centre Rotana Doha, came in the framework of the Bulgarian local EU Presidency and the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018.

QNCECS, Sasol Hold "Accessible Qatar" Workshop

The Qatar National Committee for Education, Culture and Science, in cooperation with Sasol, the International Company for Energy and Chemicals, concluded the third training workshop "Accessible Qatar" that lasted for two days at the Arab Educational Training Center for Gulf States.

    The establishment of the Qatar National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, was a remarkable development in the educational, cultural and scientific field in Qatar since 50 years, as the need for a national agency which specializes in the affairs of culture, education and science had crystallized, that caters to the goals of sustainable development in the country – educational, cultural, scientific, social and environmental –through cooperation with relevant international, Arab and regional organizations (UNESCO – ALECSO – ISESCO - Arab Bureau of Education for the Gulf States) and other relevant organizations.
